End an automation on a date

In short

• Pick a date and time. The automation turns off then.
• Good for a sale, a launch or a giveaway that ends.
• Leave it blank and it keeps running.

Steps

1. Open Automation and click New, or open one you have.
2. Fill in the boxes as usual.
3. In quick setup, click Add an end date. In the full editor, find Ends on (optional).
4. Pick the date and time. It uses your time zone.
5. Click Go live, or Turn it on in the editor.

Changed your mind? Click Clear next to the date.

Good to know

• Your list shows the end, like "Ends Oct 30, 9:00 PM". Once it has passed, it says "Ended Oct 30".
• Someone who commented before the end still gets the reply.
• An ended automation says "Ended. Open it to pick a new end date." Open it, pick a later date, and click Turn it on.
• In Answer common questions, the end date stops your words. Reply to anything else stays on.
