Add sprkly as a connector in Claude, sign in to sprkly, then ask Claude to post. For example: "Post this photo to my Instagram tomorrow at 9am." You need a sprkly paid plan or the free trial, and an Instagram Business or Creator account connected in sprkly.
Set it up once
- Open claude.ai or the Claude desktop app.
- Go to Settings, then Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector.
- Paste
https://sprkly.app/api/mcpand click Add. - Click Connect on the sprkly card, sign in to sprkly, and approve.
It then works on claude.ai, the desktop app and mobile. On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector first.
Then just ask
- "Post this to Instagram tomorrow at 9am."
- "Plan my week from these 10 photos."
- "What do I have scheduled?"
- "How did my posts do last week?"
Things Instagram needs
- A photo or a video. Instagram does not take text-only posts.
- Give Claude a link to the file. Google Drive and Dropbox links work if the file is shared publicly.
- Files up to 50 MB this way. Bigger files go through sprkly Compose.
- For a carousel, give the photos in the order you want.
- For a Story, say "Story". A tall video can be a Reel or a Story, so Claude should ask.
What Claude can and cannot do
- It posts only to accounts you already connected in sprkly.
- Everything goes through your normal queue. You see it in your sprkly calendar.
- If you have two Instagram accounts, Claude asks which one.
- It cannot delete a post that has already gone out.
- On Power, you can make every post wait for your approval first.
Which plan
- Creator, from US$4.50 per account a month, and Power, US$9.
- The 14-day free trial includes it.
- The Free plan does not.
Do it in sprkly: Connect Instagram in sprkly Settings first. Then add the connector in Claude and ask it what you have scheduled to check it works.
