Browser extension

Post what you find on the web.

  • Snip part of a page or drag in an image.
  • Then post it now or schedule it, from a side panel next to the page.

Free on every sprkly plan.

What it does

  • All of sprkly, in a side panel next to the page you are on.
  • Snip part of any page. Drag a box, or press Alt+Shift+S.
  • Pick a shape first: 9:16 Story, 3:4 Tall, 4:5 Portrait, 1:1 Square or 16:9 Wide. A 4:5 snip comes out exactly 4:5.
  • Picked a shape? It tells you when a snip is small and may look blurry.
  • Drag an image from a site, or drop a file from your computer.
  • Click a photo to see it full size, with its size and shape. It says "Not 4:5" when it is not the shape you chose.
  • Post to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Facebook, Bluesky, LinkedIn and X. Post now, or pick a time.

How it works

  1. Add it to Chrome or Edge, and sign in to sprkly.

  3. Pick your accounts, write a caption, and post or schedule it.

The panel shows you each step: 1 Snip, 2 Accounts, 3 Caption, 4 When.

Questions

Is it free?

  • Yes. The extension is free on every sprkly plan, Free too.
  • You need a sprkly account. Your plan's limits still apply.
  • X is on Creator and Power. It is not on Free or the trial.

Which browsers does it work in?

  • Chrome and Edge, version 116 or newer.
  • Not Firefox yet.

What can it see?

  • Only the tab you snip, and only when you start a snip.
  • A snip is a picture of the box you draw. The rest of the screen stays in your browser.
  • It does not read the words on a page or your history.
  • The first time you press Snip, your browser asks if sprkly may see the pages you are on. You can say no and use Alt+Shift+S instead.

Does it work on any site?

  • It works on most sites.
  • Browsers do not let any extension snip some pages: settings pages, the new tab page, PDFs and the add-on stores. The panel tells you when.
  • You can still drag in an image or drop a file there.

Does it post for me on its own?

  • No. Nothing goes out until you press Post now or Schedule post.
  • Pick a time, and the post goes out then. You do not need to keep the browser open.
