Bluesky is in private testing. The connect button appears when it opens.
What you need
- A Bluesky account.
- Your handle, like yourname.bsky.social.
- That is all. We never see your password.
Connect it
- Go to Settings and find Social accounts.
- Next to Bluesky, click Connect a Bluesky account.
- Type your handle. Click Continue with Bluesky.
- Bluesky opens. Sign in there if it asks.
- Approve sprkly.
- You come back to sprkly. Bluesky now shows Connected.
What you can post
- Text up to 300 characters.
- Up to 4 photos. Big photos are shrunk for you.
- Links turn into real links.
- No video yet.
If it fails
- "We could not find that Bluesky handle." Check the spelling and try again.
- "Bluesky did not get your OK." Try again. Approve sprkly when Bluesky asks.
- You want to stop. Disconnect in Settings. Or in Bluesky, go to Settings, then Privacy and security, then Connected apps, and remove sprkly.
