What you need
- A Facebook Page. A personal profile can't connect.
- Admin access to that Page. Editors can't give access.
- To be signed in to sprkly on sprkly.app. Connecting does not work anywhere else.
Steps
- Go to Settings and find Social accounts.
- Next to Facebook Page, click Connect a Facebook Page.
- A popup opens on Facebook. Log in as yourself, not as the Page.
- Facebook asks which Pages to share. Tick the box next to your Page. Then continue.
- Back in sprkly, a box opens: Choose a Facebook Page. Click your Page.
- Facebook Page now shows Connected in Settings.
To add another Page, click Add account and pick that Page.
If it fails
- "Facebook did not share any Pages with us." The Page box was not ticked. Connect again and tick your Page.
- Still no Pages. Check you are logged in to Facebook as yourself. Check you are an admin of the Page.
- Your Page is in a Business Portfolio (Meta Business Suite). The Page must be assigned to you by name. Being an admin of the business is not enough. In Business Settings, open Pages and pick your Page. Your name should show with full control.
- Nothing happens on localhost or a preview link. Open sprkly.app/settings and try there.
