What you need
- A Google account with a YouTube channel.
- Vertical 9:16 video. sprkly posts to YouTube as Shorts.
- To be signed in to sprkly on sprkly.app. Connecting does not work anywhere else.
Steps
- Go to Settings and find Social accounts.
- Next to YouTube Shorts, click Connect a YouTube channel.
- A popup opens on Google. Pick the Google account that owns the channel.
- Allow the permissions Google asks for.
- The popup closes. YouTube Shorts now shows Connected in Settings.
To add another channel, click Add account. Google lets you pick a different account.
If it fails
- The wrong channel connected. Click Add account and pick the other Google account.
- Nothing happens on localhost or a preview link. Open sprkly.app/settings and try there.
- The popup was closed early. Click Connect again and finish every step.
