Yes. sprkly can only post to an Instagram professional account: a Business account or a Creator account. A personal account will not connect. You can switch in the Instagram app.
What you need
- An Instagram account set to Business or Creator.
- That is all. You do not need a Facebook Page to post to Instagram.
- sprkly connects through Instagram's own sign-in screen. We never see your password.
How to switch
- Open the Instagram app.
- Go to Settings, then Account type.
- Switch to a professional account. Pick Business or Creator.
Business or Creator?
- Both connect to sprkly the same way.
- Both can be scheduled: feed posts, carousels, Reels and Stories.
- Pick the one that fits you. sprkly does not care which.
Then connect it
- Open Settings, then Social accounts.
- Click Connect an Instagram professional account and sign in.
- Each Instagram handle counts as one account. The Free plan holds 3 accounts.
If it will not connect
- Check the account type first. A personal account is the most common cause.
